Dalian has a well-trained work force, and it is rich in supply. There are about 1.312 million staff and workers, including 250,000 technical personnel of various disciplines. 200,000 people are now working in foreign-invested enterprises. Each year, 13,000 more graduates from colleges and specialized schools join the work force, plus 12,000 occupational trainees and another 62,000 other labors joining the labor market and so the needs of foreign-invested enterprises for skilled workers and management staff can always be met.
